The Origin Story

I founded this business inspired by my late grandfather Samson A. Mensah, whom I barely met. He owned one of the top hotels in Ghana in his day, Northridge Hotel, regularly hosting diplomats, World Bank and United Nations personnel, athletes, and everyone in between. He was orphaned at the age of 8 and was no stranger to a life of struggle, yet in spite of that he built something great together with my Grandma before he passed away.
Having heard stories of my Grandpa from my mom and her siblings, that hustle, resilience, and dedication have inspired me all my life. I have my grandfather's sense of hospitality and affinity for entrepreneurship. I want to see his legacy live on for generations. That's why here at S.A. Mensah Northridge, we pour the same passion my grandfather had into every room we uniquely design and ensure our guests have a truly enjoyable stay. Whether you're a traveling nurse, a corporate professional, or just simply looking to get away for a few days, we'd love to host you at one of our properties!
